Kolonnawa Leos: An Award-Recognised Digital Home
The first official website for the Leo Club of Kolonnawa, designed, built, redesigned, and managed as an ongoing volunteer initiative. It gives the club a lasting digital home for its history, projects, news, publications, leadership, and community impact.
The challenge
The Leo Club of Kolonnawa had no dedicated website through which to preserve its history, publish project work, attract members, and build long-term search visibility. Social media posts were useful in the moment, but they could not provide an organised, searchable record that remained accessible across changing club boards.
The solution
I created the club’s first public website and later led its complete redesign. The site now brings together the club’s story, projects, news, newsletters, leadership information, membership pathways, and public updates. I continue to publish content, manage the platform, improve its search presence, and maintain the site as the club’s long-term digital home.
My role
I independently designed and built the original website and its recent redesign. For approximately three years, I have volunteered as its ongoing digital manager-handling publishing, WordPress administration, technical maintenance, SEO, analytics, performance, structure, and digital direction. Club members contribute much of the event photography and source material.
