Wedlock Tales: A shared digital home for wedding planning

The challenge

Wedding planning rarely happens in one place. Budgets live in spreadsheets, guest lists are copied repeatedly, supplier quotations disappear inside messages, and decisions are scattered across family conversations. The challenge was to bring that complexity together without making the experience feel like corporate project-management software.

The solution

I designed Wedlock Tales as a shared wedding workspace that grows with the plan. Couples can establish a budget, generate planning scenarios, build an adaptive checklist, organise guest households, compare suppliers and create a personalised digital invitation. Private household links connect invitations to the correct RSVP allocation, while role-based access lets partners and planners collaborate safely.

My role

I led the product from concept to deployment: mapping the planning journey, defining the information architecture, creating the brand and responsive interface, designing the database and building the frontend, backend and administrative workflows. My work covers authentication, permissions, budgets, timelines, guests, vendors, invitations, RSVPs, package activation and production deployment.
